Hello Everyone! Happy Easter to all of you! I hope that it was a wonderful day for everyone- celebrating the fact that we do not serve a Savior who just died for us, but rose again for us!
I had a really wonderful day. This morning- I did not go to church, but went to the lakefront with my friend Kelsey where we spent almost all morning reading our Bibles and journaling. Then we went for a walk in a cemetary and looked at all the gravestones. For our Easter Sunday lunch, we ate with our friends Jared and Andy at Sonic. Then, I spent like an hour sitting outside just playing my guitar…..
And then…..Kelsey and I decided to go for a bike ride…nothing to serious, just ride around some. So, we started riding on a trail that I often run on, and decided to go a bit further on it. Well- it turned into a serious biking trail called the Glacial Drumlin Trail (this trail is about 52 miles long, and goes all the way to Madison, Wisconsin). So….we weren’t sure how far to go, and were more concerned about finding a gas station to get a drink than anything else….so we ended up going about 15 miles out of Waukesha to Wales, WI where- we finally found a gas station! Then we proceeded to make the 15 mile trip back! But, it was super fun, and we saw a ton of people out and about, so that was really nice! Here are a few photos from the trip!
I hope that you all had a great day as well!
