So- yesterday was Tribal Cup…..overall, we lost for the year and they were awarded the trophy for the year. But, that was counting all of the events from last fall, when the score was 6 to 1. This spring, the only things that we lost were ping-pong, girls basketball, and guys soccer.
But, it was a really fun day. Really busy and tiring, but good bonding for all of us! And….I love playing sports to actually be competitive in!
This was the ping-pong team for Waukesha. They did really well, but Jackson did end up beating us.
This was our Girls Basketball team. It was really fun to play although Jackson ended up winning. For me, this was the first time that I had ever played a true basketball game. It was fun though, and I did score a basket!
This was the guys basketball team. They did so well, and BEAT JACKSON! It was a really good game to watch!
This was the girls volleyball team. It was so much fun to play! We did super well playing as a team and setting up. We were playing best 2 out of 3 to 25, and we won the first 2 games! It was a ton of fun to play with these girls!
This was the guys volleyball team. They did so well and also beat Jackson. This was a really good game to watch as well!
This was the co-ed volleyball team. Super fun to set for these guys, and I even got one good hit in this game! We also beat Jackon here.
This was our girls soccer team. We got to play at an indoor complex in Milwaukee- first time I'd ever played on an indoor field with turf. But, it was so fun! I loved playing, and the whole team did really well. It was 8-2 in the end, we won! I scored one of those, but I sadly admit that it was kind of a pansy shot. Oh well!
This was the guys soccer team, and although they did lose.....I think that they did a fantastic job, and really played hard. Our guys are excellent at soccer, but just couldn't seem to get their shots in last night.
All in all though- it was a super fun day just to be able to play sports all day long! Hope that everyone else had a great weekend and is ready for another week coming up tomorrow!
When you were dead and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross! ~Colossians 2:13-15
